Greetings from the Admissions Office at Western Theological Seminary.  At Western, we believe that call to ministry leadership is usually first discerned internally as an individual listens to the promptings of the Spirit, and then confirmed by voices from within the called individual's own community through the affirmation of those who know an applicant best.  You have been selected as such a voice for the applicant who has requested this recommendation from you.  The applicant has identified you as someone who has insight into their gifts and abilities and we are grateful for your voice as we seek to best serve our students and prepare them to lead the church, in all her forms, in mission.

Grace and peace to you.
